This is a solid guitar in good playing order. It has a nice flame top and good color to the burst but it does have some wear & tear. There is most notably a ding through the finish next to the bass side tailpiece stud (see picture 6 for detail). Otherwise the guitar has its fair share of dings & scuffs but no finish chips or other large blems. At 3 feet it looks great. Most importantly it sounds nice & open and playability is quite good. Weight is quite manageable at 8 pounds 6 ounces. Frets are in very good shape with plenty of meat left. The guitar has fresh strings & a pro set-up. Strap buttons & tone pots have been replaced but the guitar is otherwise stock. A great guitar for the price.
Here's a stunning 2009 Sadowsky SS-15 Thinline Archtop, Sienna, with its original hard shell case, used, in excellent condition. It's a consignment item in our shop (customer-owned used). It's been extremely well cared for - no wear to note, extremely clean. This is one of the very first SS-15's to be built - unlike on later models, the body joins at the 15th fret rather than the 14th - very hard to find. Articulate, resonant beyond all reason, this guitar is a joy to play both acoustic and amplified. It's very well set-up, flatwounds on there right now, testing its setup before writing this up made me want to take it home... Highly flamed maple top in a dark Sienna finish is suitably gorgeous for a guitar that sounds this good.
Roger Sadowsky builds some of the finest basses & arch top guitars in the world. Roger's unparalleled design refinements and obsession with top-quality craftsmanship insure that every instrument that bears his name is special- something in which he & the purchaser can take equal pride & pleasure.
The Semi-Hollow has the same fine pedigree as all Sadowskys & offers a traditional jazz tone coupled with the ability to withstand feedback in high volume & large band environments. The chambered spruce center block provides warm acoustic tone with maximum feedback resistance. In our opinion this guitar is a fine choice for blues or rock too.
This guitar is in fine shape with no significant play wear & no issues. Frets are immaculate. Guitar has been set up with 11s & plays like a dream. It sounds every bit as good as it looks.
Schecter Hellraiser FR in good condition. Ding in the top of the neck, assorted normal playing wear (pick scratches, scuffs, buckle rash, etc). It's received our full setup, plays great, all electronics have been checked, working normally. No gig bag or case is included with the guitar.
