Master Builder Andy Powers and co-founder Bob Taylor were going through their piles of unsorted wood and found an entire lot of sets of master-grade Massacar Ebony waiting to be made into world-class guitars.  They paired this with a Sinker Redwood top salvaged from the bottom of a Californian river where it's been waiting to be made into someone's perfect instrument.  These two unique tonewoods combine into a rich, responsive, and unique sounding one of a kind guitar.  Sinker Redwood blends the soft attack and warmth of Cedar with the tighter response and dense harmonic content of Spruce.  The Ebony back and sides capture the low end body and power of Rosewood but give it a very immediate attack like Maple without the harshness.  This back and side combination makes this guitar a fingerpicker's dream.  It has exceptional touch sensitivity and feels alive under your fingers.  The sound is harmonically rich and full with a scooped midrange with a much more precise frequency scoop than a Rosewood guitar.  It really comes alive when you dig in, offering you a variety of sounds just by varying your attack (and that's not to mention different picking styles and positions).
