Pre-Owned 1963/64 Fender Bandmaster Head Black Faceplate 

This is a true working guitarist's amp. Many dings and parts updated but close to original AB763 specs. No-sag solid state rectifier with new Sprauge cap.

Serial Numbers:

Chassis Stamp S/N: A01003 =1963

Tube Chart "NL"=1964DEC

PT and OT =1960  (606016) (probably from a Twin).

 

Condition: Good

New 3 prong IEC and disconnected "death cap".

Intensity knob incorrect with small font and set screw at #1. All others are #10 set screw and appear correct.

All pots cleaned and work well.

Both bright switches work.

Trem Opto newly replaced with new Mojotone Fender tremolo opto LDR.

No Foot Switch but works with another we had.

Some caps, resistors, and screws have been replaced.

"Bandmaster" Sticker added inside to cover 2 extra tube holes from previous Mod that has been reverted as close to AB763 spec.... other than the larger transformers.

Tolex very rough on corners and many dings with scuffing all over. Rear panel warped but works.

"Dumbo ears" head mounts intact.


Tubes: Old stock but strong.

V1 & V2: RCA 12ax7 Preamp Tube

V3: Baldwin 12ax7 Preamp Tube

V4: Amperex 12AT7/ECC81 Preamp Tube

V5 & V6: Sylvania 6l6 Power tubes
