Tom Anderson Top T - Natural Bora Burst

Make no mistake - the Top T is dynamic. Balanced is the word that comes to mind, both in feel and versatility. This guy can take you from twangy, dexterous blues to growly metal without missing a beat.

The first thing you'll notice is the powerful low-end - rich and heavy with gorgeous sustain that stays true through every switch position, but sings the most through the middle S1 hum-cancelling single-coil. Lightweight, porous Swamp Ash produces robust lows and lush, musical highs with a scooped-out middle range, making this unassuming little beast a force to be reckoned with. He's deceptively mean when he wants to be, but puts on an air of smoky sweetness with a chimey high end. Switch in to the throaty H1 or H2+ humbuckers for stellar output with mighty sustain for your leads and punchy, blooming chords.

At a substantial (but not heavy) weight, he's balanced and comfortable. The 62 Pete neck back offers a medium depth at the first few frets and gets more substantial in the upper regions, giving you solid control with a blend of both 60's and modern vibes while facilitating all the speed you can muster. The rounded fretboard edges make it effortless. The wedge neck pocket provides more contact area between neck & body and literally locks the neck in place.

The vintage trem is a champ for slurring notes with no choking, and the Buzz Feiten tuning system makes for perfect intonation and tune-maintenance all the way up the neck.
