Tom Anderson Classic Bora to Transparent Blue Burst

This Classic in Bora to Trans Blue Burst is a real eye catcher- the grain and the colors in the burst are just gorgeous. It has a clear & open sound with focused bottom end, crisp bell-like highs and slightly scooped mids. Tonally it's equally at home in rock, funk or blues settings. The humbuckers split convincingly so it can cover a lot of ground with aplomb. 

The HN2+ bridge pickup is a muscular and articulate medium output humbucker. The H1 neck pickup is a smooth clear vintage output humbucker. The SC1 middle pickup breathes single coil sparkle in a hum-canceling package. When playing through a Deluxe Reverb we got the classic chime at moderate volumes and plenty of muscular thump when we leaned into it. Even through higher gain amps all the notes in chords ring out clearly. Single notes sustain with authority and plenty of juicy overtones.

The neck is quite slim and fast with a consistent feel from the first position all the way up. The contoured heel provides easy access to the upper register. The wedge neck pocket provides more contact area between neck & body and literally locks the neck in place. Fretwork is immaculate & the Buzz Feiten tuning system insures that even the tightest chord clusters play in tune all the way up the neck. Fit & finish are as always flawless.
