This guitar is a treat. If you could only take one guitar to a gig this would be the one. It has a muscular sound that shimmers in clean mode but really punches with some drive. There’s as much bite as most Strat players could ask for but it’s tempered with a tonal weight that is rarely apparent in bolt-on guitars. Chords are still nice & articulate but FAT while single notes ring out bold & proud.

The SF1 pickups breathe single coil sparkle in a hum-canceling package while the HN2+ is a focused punchy medium output humbucker that still cleans up nicely and splits well. The neck is medium-slim and fast with a consistent feel from the first position all the way up and the fretwork is perfect. The wedge neck pocket provides more contact area between neck & body and literally locks the neck in place. The set-up is perfect, the fretwork is immaculate & the Buzz Feiten tuning system insures that even the tightest chord clusters play in tune all the way up the neck. Fit & finish are absolutely flawless.

Tom's guitars are super ergonomic; perfectly balanced on a strap or in your lap. The neck is silky smooth & easy to play, all the contours are refined for maximum comfort & the sculpted neck heel makes access to the upper frets effortless. It almost plays itself.
