Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe

If you're looking for a new gain pedal to completely transform the sound of your amp into the classic rock and roll sounds of the 60s and 70s, the Wampler Plexi Drive Deluxe will deliver that and then some!  This overdrive is a further refinement of Brian Wampler's renowned Plexi Drive pedal with a built in TS-style overdrive accessible via a separate footswitch to make a one stop Marshall in a a Box style pedal for the ages.  The Plexi Drive Deluxe adds a full 3 band active EQ to the Plexi Drive to add a similar level of control to what you'd find on the amps themselves.  The Bass Boost switch lets you add some of that 4x12 thump to a smaller combo amp playing at more reasonable volume levels, while the Bright switch lets you quickly and easily tailor the pedal for brighter or darker guitar on the fly.  The Boost section has a separate gain knob to control how hard you're slamming the front end of the pedal when the Boost is engaged.  This combination of sounds really lets you get all of the classic sounds you associate with a cranked Marshall stack anywhere and at at any time.  Power up to 18V is accepted in this pedal for increased headroom and clarity, making the pedal sound and feel more amp-like.  The Plexi Drive Deluxe is an excellent choice for any fan of classic British amps looking to add some of that sound to their rig!
