Amongst a variety of modes you have tons of options for both dynamic and oscillating wah sounds.  You can choose from three tonal ranges for the wah sweep (Up, Down, and Sharp) in Dynamic mode to fine tune your sound.  You can also use the pedal in Tempo mode to have it automatically sweep the wah over time, complete with tap tempo.  Finally, the AW-3 brings the all-new Humanizer mode which manipulates your wah sound to mimic the sound of a human voice.  The specific vowel being spoken changes based on your pick attack.
