 The ValveTrain 205 is a pint sized tone monster delivering 5W of all tube guitar sound through an 8” Weber Signature Series speaker.  This amp is based on the venerable 1955 Fender 5F2A Princeton, studio secret to the stars since its original release.  Powered by a tube complement of 1 12AX7, 1 6V6, and 1 5Y3 rectifier this amp can cover everything from sparkling clean tones through to massive, fuzz tinged distorted sounds just by manipulating the volume and tone controls on the guitar and amp. 

The 5F2A Princeton circuit takes the classic tweed Champ tone and bumps it up a notch with a larger output transformer, which increases low end.  The 205 also adds a Tone control absent on a Champ circuit giving you even more range in a deceptively simple package.  Its solid pine, finger-jointed cabinet adds an airy almost acoustic quality to the notes while keeping overall weight low (just 17 pounds!).  While this amp may be physically small, its sound is huge: you really have to experience it to believe it.
