This is a pre-owned vintage 1971 Fender "four bolt" Stratocaster in a burst finish, which appears to be period correct with assessment of the potentiometers. A solid body meets a maple neck and rosewood veneer fingerboard, 22 frets with white dot inlays, measuring .85" deep at the first fret, .892" deep at the 10th fret, and 1.61" wide at the nut.
Updates and non-original pieces we're privy to: the backplate has been replaced. At some point there was a re-fret done, and there is some pitting to the higher register frets. Two of the saddle screws are missing, and we believe the neck was re-finished at some point. The body and end of the headstock show an amount of age appropriate wear in the form of scratches, scuffs and light-moderate gouging, all of which can be seen in photos.
Pot codes 7317052 (CTS 1970 52nd week)
This guitar overall is in good condition and has undergone a full in-store professional inspection and setup. The neck is nice and straight, fits comfortably in the hand and shows only the aforementioned fret pitting and light fretwear towards the nut.
As always, this guitar ships fully insured with signature required. Hard shell case is included.
