Every now and then we get a guitar that is truly special. This Suhr Modern is one of those guitars. It's resonant, lightweight and best of all, it sounds absolutely massive.

The Body is made of African Oakburne which gives the guitar a punchy midrange, perfect for cutting though the mix in a heavy band. Weighing in at 6LB 12OZ it's a remarkably light guitar, but not so light the the notes have no focus behind them.

The light satin finish allows the guitar to resonate freely, and resonate it does. Chords and single notes alike are rich and full with tons of harmonic content. When played clean, harmonics start jumping off the guitar fairly early, that only gets more pronounced when played driven.
