Tom Anderson Cobra - Cherry Burst

Here's a guitar that's sure to turn some heads. This Anderson's a real Rock and Roll machine. For those who are not familiar with Tom's work, he makes some of the easiest playing, most musical sounding instruments on the planet. This one is of course no exception. Chords in the first position are nice and big with exceptional clarity, and single notes resonate with aplomb. While this guitar is a joy when played clean, it was made to be plugged into a cranked up amp.

This guitar features a flame maple cap with an okoume back and neck, all in a stunning cherry sunburst finish. The 60s vibe neck is nice and comfortable; it fills the palm of the hand nicely without ever feeling too big. The HC pickups provide an overwound PAF style sound but when split offer an impressive array of single coil sounds as well. We like to say no guitar does it all, but this one gets pretty close.

The contoured heel provides easy access to the upper register. The wedge neck pocket provides more contact area between neck & body and literally locks the neck in place. Fretwork is immaculate and the Buzz Feiten tuning system insures that even the tightest chord clusters play in tune all the way up the neck. Fit and finish are as always flawless.
