Ashdown Engineering RootMaster RM500 Evolution Bass Head  

Developed specifically to maintain a seriously deep, low end, mid range definition and a dynamic high register, the RM500 delivers its output into a 4ohm load, making it the perfect option for the working bassist interested in serious power, without serious weight.

The EVO series pre-amp (evolved from the original RM-500) now includes both a passive and an active input jack to use with both low and high output instruments. This enables you to fine tune your input level using the trademark VU meter by setting a clear signal path to the input control.

Find your optimal level and use your shape button, on board compressor and 5-band EQ to tweak and enhance your tone. Tap into the drive control for a valve-emulated overdrive, or the sub-harmonic controls to add some serious chunk to your tone.


This head is in very good condition and works perfectly. There is some visible playwear to the casing, all of which can be easily seen in photos.
