Steggo Studios is dedicated to producing unique and fun guitar and bass effects pedals at a reasonable price. Steggo tends to focus on cloning vintage, boutique, modified, or other out of production pedals that are typically out of the reach of the average buyer. All Steggo pedals are hand made in Oregon – often with a fun dinosaur themed enclosure. Steggo circuit boards are a mix of commercially produced and hand-etched through-hole boards. All electrical components in Steggo pedals are either purchased from the best available modern source or are certified vintage parts.

Based on the early 1970’s Maestro PS-1A Phase Shifter, the Polacanthus Phaser starts with the modernized Lectric-FX PCB to create an effect that captures the sound of the original while adding several more modern conveniences! In addition to the normal slow, medium, and fast phase modes, there is a feedback control which allows you to adjust the depth on the fly giving the unit additional tonal range as compared to the original – simply turn this knob completely counter-clockwise for the sound of the original unit.

The pedal will require a normal 9V power source as there is no provision for an internal battery.
