Its airy qualities only begin with its visual aesthetic; the comfort of the caramel maple neck is nothing short of cloud-like. It's light all the way through, in weight and in dexterity all the way up the fretboard. It's sensitive to touch but not overly discerning... almost clairvoyant. The satin, even-tapered neck back offers effortless access to the sweet, gossamer highs as well as the sultry and comfortable lows. The wedge neck pocket provides more contact area between neck & body and literally locks the neck in place.

Kiln-dried swamp ash lends perfectly to the delicate, complex nature of the Classic. Pair it with Tom Anderson's own SF1 hum-cancelling single coils at the neck and middle and HN2+ humbuckers at the bridge, and you've got a gorgeous and articulate vintage mid-range and a depthy, warm low-end with great sustain.

Intricately appointed with a Buzz Feiten tuning system, you'll find this graceful beauty has perfect intonation - from thick, rich chords in first position all the way to bright and lucid 19th fret harmonics. Even for all its buoyancy, it still holds its own in a mix - there's no loss of focus in a high-gain atmosphere.
