Known for being a Blues/Rock virtuoso as well as a guitar collector of considerable renown, Joe Bonamassa has been on the hunt for '59 Les Paul's for years. He's owned quite a few of them. The "Lazarus" is a faithful recreation of one of his first bursts. 

When Bonamassa found "Lazarus" the guitar was in rough shape. Much like the biblical Lazarus, Joe's guitar was brought back to life, during the restoration, a stunning AAAA Flame Maple top was revealed. Lazarus was born.
