The Ola from Strymon captures all the classic bucket brigade chorus and vibrato tones you love in a pedal with modern versatility and features not previously available. You have access to 3 distinct chorus and vibrato types: Chorus (an old school analog-voiced chorus sound), Multi (modeled after the classic rack-mounted triple chorus tones of the 80s), and Vibrato (eliminating the dry signal for pure pitch modulating goodness). Where the Ola really gets interesting is its mode selector: the Normal mode does exactly what you'd expect. Envelope mode adds an envelope follower to the effect allowing you to control the mix of the chorus tones or rate of the vibrato sounds just by varying your pick attack. Ramp mode allows you to ramp the effect's rate up and down by holding the momentary Ramp footswitch.

Like all of Strymon's pedals, the Ola has a comprehensive yet easy to use control set so you can spend less time twisting knobs and more time enjoying the rich modulation tones! You have the standard knobs for Speed, Depth, and Mix like on countless chorus pedals before, but there are 2 notable control additions to the Ola that make it uniquely usable: a simple master Tone control to easily dial in the high end presence, and the Ramp/Env knob, which gives you quick control over the 2 alternate operation modes' Ramp speed and Sensitivity, respectively. A dedicated Favorite footswitch lets you easily recall settings on the fly, and the Bypass footswitch doubles as the momentary Ramp switch.
