String bends are practically unlimited - pull them as far as your little heart desires and don't be surprised when that tone just. Keeps. Going. 

AGW calls the Icon the "No Compromise" vintage guitar, and boy, do they mean it. With all the aesthetic and none of the limitations of a traditional vintage instrument, the Classic shows up as a mighty contender in modern playability. The alder body only caters more to that gorgeous tone, showing up most notably in its thick (yet oh-so-articulate) midrange.  This beauty sports the 25.5" scale Anderson Small 50's V neck in caramel maple, with a satin back that feels like an absolute dream. 

Some notes on this particular pick-up configuration from AGW themselves:

VA 7: Our most popular vintage series pickups. The VA7's slightly reduced pole piece stagger welcomes a fuller bottom end, with less potential for string rattle.

VA 7.2: Same as our VA 7, with a slightly hotter and fatter output.

HC 2: Our other most popular humbucker, perhaps. Who wouldn’t love a medium-hot output package with all the vintage flavor firmly in place, wound to create a full bouquet of tonalities. Muscular mids with a smattering of lush and soft highlights so it is impressively musical, with never a hint of that “oops, I accidentally sat on a duck,” tone. Beautiful from all tonal angles.
