Pre-Owned 1999 Fender American Standard Stratocaster - Midnight Wine 

Few guitars are as iconic as the Stratocaster, just the look evokes images of Pink Floyd at Pompeii or Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock, even John Mayer at the Nokia Theatre; whatever your reason for wanting a Strat, this is a fine example of one. Chords ring out with authority in the first and second positions, and single notes seem to hang on forever. The neck is nice and comfortable, while on the smaller side, it fills the palm of the hand nicely and is conducive to playing with your thumb on the bass strings. At just 7.89 pounds, it is a nice comfortable weight, perfect for long gigs or recording sessions. Comes with the original case.

There are numerous finish dings on this guitar, most notably on the headstock. The finish is also coming up on the fingerboard. The nut has been slightly over-shaped. All finish damage can be clearly seen in the pictures. There is moderate fret wear all over the guitar and the skunk stripe is coming up just slightly. The neck is nice and straight and the guitar has gone through a full inspection and setup by our in house luthier.
