Boss Katana 50 MK II

 The Boss Katana MkII takes everything you loved from the original game-changing modeling amp series and kicks it up a notch.  Where the previous models offered 5 amp models, the MkII doubles it, offering two variations on each model to further increase the already impressive amount of sonic variations available.  The accompanying Boss Tone Studio software has been updated to match with a new UI for easy access to over 60 different effects and tons of virtual routing options that can all be saved to the device's presets. 

The Katana 50 offers 2 switchable presets along with the panel settings for a total of 3 presets, switchable either with an external footswitch (sold separately) or the on panel buttons.  Finally, the Katana's secret weapon is the Power control, easily and quickly allowing you to swap the power amp between 50W, 25W, and 1/2 W modes to limit your maximum output volume.  The Boss Katana MkII is your ticket to pro level sounds at a starting level pricepoint.  

This amp works nicely as described and is in very good condition, showing only some light external wear (such as gentle scuffing to the tolex) as can be seen in photos.
