From Gibson:
During a time when cultural optimism was low, Gibson dreamed up a new line of "advanced" instruments; included in those models was the Advanced Jumbo. Due to low production numbers from 1936-1939, this model largely flew under the radar even though it was a supreme sounding and performing instrument.
Sporting a Spruce Top and Rosewood back and sides, this is the perfect guitar to accompany a singer songwriter or instrumentalist in a band setting.
This guitar sounds fantastic and has undergone a full setup and inspection from our in-house luthier. The neck is nice and straight, fits comfortably in the hand and shows only lighter fretwear. Cosmetically this guitar does have a few imperfections: there is some clouding and playwear to the face of the body, some wear near the bridge/saddle, and a larger scuff on the face near the lower bass side binding, all of which can be seen in photos.
Includes original hardshell case and literature.
As always, this guitar ships fully insured with signature required.
