Marshall 2555x 25/50 100 Watt Head
Originally based on the 2203 and 2204 models of the JCM800,the Jubilee was a special anniversary design to celebrate the Marshall Amplifier legacy. Arguably, this is one of their most versatile designs.
With 100 watts of loud and a triode/pentode switch to run at club venue volumes, this amp was designed to make the best of every guitarist stand out. Run at full power, you have huge lows and highs that widely fill the sonic spectrum, with a tight low end that can move a lot of air, jangley highs, and a midrange that sings like nothing else you've ever heard. Drop to triode mode and sit right in the mix with a managable master volume.
It seems to capture multiple elements of all the best amps they made. Run it on the clean channel and always feel dynamically right on the edge as the harder you play the more it responds sounding like 60's British Blues. Pull the Rhythm clip from there and you would think you were rocking with a cranked 'plexi behind you, even without the volume cranked.
Put it on the lead channel with your mids cranked and hear the amp sing so sweet you would wonder what planet this thing came from, and have the baddest metal crunch in town with the rhythm clip engaged. Dime it all and god himself would drop from the sky wondering if the apocolypse started early.
This amp can do it all and the previous owner kept it in beautiful condition. Take it home at this great used price, and have the envy of every guitarist in town.
