In 1994, Fender marked the 40th Anniversary of the Stratocaster with special features on all factory-built American Standard and Plus Series Stratocaster models. Each guitar from this year features a commemorative medallion on the ball of the headstock and an engraved neck plate with "1994 Fender STRATOCASTER 40 Years ...and still rockin!". These unique touches add to the guitar's collectible value while retaining the exceptional playability and tone that Fender is known for.

The 1994 American Standard Stratocaster boasts an alder body with the classic Stratocaster shape, offering a balanced and resonant tone. The satin-finish maple neck, with 22 American Standard large frets and a 9.5" radius, ensures smooth and comfortable playability. The neck is equipped with a mid pickup that is reverse polarity/reverse wound for hum-free operation when used with the bridge or neck pickup, providing a versatile tonal palette.

High-Quality Hardware and Electronics

This Stratocaster features three American Standard single-coil pickups, delivering the classic Fender sound with clarity and punch. The 5-position switch allows for a wide range of tonal options, while the TBX tone control for the bridge and middle pickups offers additional sound-shaping capabilities. The American Standard tremolo system with stainless steel saddles provides excellent tuning stability and sustain.

This guitar is in good condition and has undergone a full in-store professional inspection and setup. The neck is nice and straight, fits comfortably in the hand and exhibits only gentle fretwear for its age. Cosmetically, there are light all-over scratches in addition to several dings to the back as can be seen in photos. Non-original hard shell case is included.
