Pre-Owned 2008 Martin 000-28

Martin's 000-28 acoustic guitar shares the same impeccable appointments as its Style 28 big siblings, but that's where the family resemblance ends. While a dreadnought is great for flatpicking, the smaller and exceedingly comfortable 000-28 is built for fingerpicking and layering, producing a clear, balanced tone that's ideal for live performance and in the studio.

Studio guitarists have long used Martin 000 guitars to add depth and dimension to a track, and the 000-28 delivers a remarkably rich, lively tone that sits beautifully in a mix. The Martin 000-28 is handcrafted true to Martin tradition, featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, with sides and back of East Indian rosewood. Martin's sleek, modified low oval neck with high-performance taper offers silky playability up and down the factory Plek'd ebony fretboard. 

This one is in good shape overall with a nice, straight neck and minimal wear to the frets. It has been well-loved so it does have a small handful of cosmetic imperfections including: some very minor wear at the front of the headstock, one small ding at the back of the headstock, two small dings at the back of the neck. The back of the body has some considerable buckle rash and several small dings. The face has a small scratch on the upper right, a small ding at the upper left and a very light gauge at the bottom right near the binding. The scratch-plate has a fair amount of playwear. Which you can see in the pictures. Structurally, the guitar is in great condition. The guitar has been through a full inspection and set-up from our in-house luthier. 

Comes with the original Martin case.
