Fender W21 Custom Shop LTD 60 Telecaster Journeyman - Faded Aged Sherwood Green

Introduced at the 1959 NAMM show, the first Custom Shop Telecaster celebrated its first full year of production in 1960. It was undoubtedly a paragon for Fender - an ash body, maple neck and the famous slab-rosewood fingerboard would come to be known across the globe.

Across the decades the Tele made a name for itself arming zeniths from Keith Richards to George Harrison to Jeff Buckley.  We here at Five Star wanted to pay homage to the history, so we brought in this Custom Shop Limited '60 Tele Journeyman.

An alder body in Faded Aged Sherwood Green meets a quartersawn maple Oval "C" neck with a triple-A rosewood fingerboard. At the center of control are dual Fender Handwound '58 single coils, controlled by a three way blade and master volume/tone knobs. Comes with original hard shell Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, shop floor traveler, strap, "ashtray" and pick.
