Mythos Mjolnir Wildwood

The Wildwood Edition Mjolnir Overdrive is a reimagining of the earliest Mjolnir pedals that were ever made. Sonically this version is designed to replicate Zach’s personal silver Klon Centaur. It has a beautiful low gain overdrive tone that compresses perfectly. We tried our hardest to match the output, voicing, and feel of the pedals it’s an homage to. No expense was spared in the creation or in the production of this pedal. Inside there are high quality metal film resistors, WIMA film caps, Nichicon Electrolytics, the +18V charge pump, and NOS Germanium Diodes. On the underside of the board we have converted all the non-signal path elements to SMT to allow for ease of building, but don’t let that worry you all audio signal path remains in through hole parts only.

All the details you’d expect from a circuit of this type are there. Many players who have compared it to original units can attest to it’s match to the multi thousand dollar units. So you may be asking yourself, what’s the difference between this and the standard production gold Mjolnir. The standard Mjolnir is mostly a surface mount build that is tweaked to be a little more “everyman” friendly sonically. It’s got a less mid forward tone, less overall gain, and a slightly smoother/darker tone. The normal Mjolnir model has a lot of changes from your average “klone” but the Wildwood is the best representation we can do of the actual unit Zach owns.
