Tonally, cocobolo is known for its volume and a deep low end that’s balanced by an overall brightness, making it a favorite among players. Sinker redwood for the top adds warmth and touch sensitivity similar to cedar's, but with a much higher volume ceiling. 

Taylor's patented V-Class bracing is a revolutionary pattern — a new sonic engine — that marks a major shift away from traditional steel-string bracing patterns. By allowing the soundboard to flex naturally while maintaining rigidity along the center (in the direction of the strings), V-Class helps enhance the volume and sustain.
