Vintage 1974 Fender P Bass

This is a pre-owned vintage 1974 Fender Precision bass, featuring a maple neck and fingerboard. The guitar has been re-finished and Plek'd professionally at Mike Lull's Guitarworks in Bellevue, Washington. 

The neck stamp indicates originality, but the refinish did cover the entirety of the neck pocket so the body wood has yet to be determined. One of the potentiometers is period correct, but does not match the other so we have reason to believe it's been replaced at some point. The pickups appear to be original and are period correct. 

Several upgrades have been made, such as an updated red pickguard, and a thumb rest, brass nut, Dunlop strap locks and a nickel Hipshot drop tuner have been installed. The original bridge cover (ashtray) is not included but screws are still present. 

Overall, this guitar is in good condition and exhibits aging appropriate for its age. The finish exhibits a small handful of small dings and superficial scratches, as well as a larger finish ding on the lower treble side bout and another near the neck heel. There is a heavy amount of wear to all edges of the headstock. The neck exhibits a moderate amount of wear in the form of scuffing, gouging and scratching as well as significant discoloration on other side of the fingerboard. Fret wear is fairly heavy but tapers off at the upper register around the 15th fret, and the hardware shows a moderate amount of wear as well. All imperfections can be seen in photos. 

Non-original hard shell case is included.
